Mr Longstaff quickly identified the problem that I was having with the pain in my knee which resulted in me having an MRI scan and a subsequent operation. Mr Longstaff was informative and attentive and the operation was an immediate success, I could feel the difference straight away and I have made a very quick recovery which has allowed me to get my life back and finally wear shoes with heels and return to doing physical exercise. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Longstaff to others who need a knee operation.

I was seen promptly by Mr Longstaff who answered all my queries and concerns and told the me of any potential dangers , of my procedure ,as well as the upside. The operation was quick and the after care very good. All aspects of my experience were positive from the operation to the nursing staff and the physio team.

I have had both knees replaced by Mr Longstaff at UHND and would have no hesitation in recommending him as an orthopaedic surgeon. My left knee was first and was fairly straightforward. I have had no pain in that knee since. My right knee was not so straightforward as following that operation I continued to have pain.Over the following months Mr Longstaff tried a variety of things to try and resolve the problem and eventually decided to resurface my kneecap. Brilliant - have had absolutely no pain since. I was awake for all three operations and can recommend this also. Mr Longstaff is a really caring person and puts you at ease regarding your operation. He listens to what you have to say and has a jovial manner about him which makes him very easy to talk to.

I recently had replacement hip surgery done by Mr Lee Longstaff and I have nothing but praise for the procedure. Mr Longstaff had the most reassuring manner before, during and after the surgery. He explained in great detail what the procedure would entail and the recuperation requirements following the surgery. Six weeks after the surgery I am walking normally and have no pain. I would recommend Mr Longstaff unconditionally.
